Once again I had to thank hard about this should Michael Jackson’s death be the subject of another williamjordandiect blog? After careful consideration and much soul searching the decision was made yes drug abuse needs a hero,to continue the fight.Michael Jackson KingofPop,dead due to the taking of as many as forty, xanxax, a prescription drug that has become a popular street drug and a now maybe the killer of the King of Pop. Why would williamjordandirect and unknown blogger feel the need to write about the drug overdose Of Michael Jackson? The reason is that Williamjordandirect blogs about drug abuse everyday and the effects it has on our nations drug abuse had been a major issuse and America for over forty years it was our only war for a long time.President Obama and his new Drug Czar dediced to take war out of drug abuse vocabularly saying it was to strong of a word and that it cause people to be threathen by the goverment.People should be threathen by drug abuse it’s a killer, ask the King of Pop,oh we can’t he died at the hands of the enemy a casualty of addiction. At williamjordandirect we will continue to report about this killer that has targareted our young people, and there heros.Maybe you will take the time to read one of our blogs that report the findings of addiction on our nations youth.Last week we reported about Texas Tech and how they are fighting against drug abuse among the young.

Iwould like to say thanks to wordpress, facebook, hubpages, twitter and especially condron who help us get the word out.Maybe we can put war back in our Drug vocabulary and renew the fight to stop this killer. Thanks
Budget Omits Grants For Drug Pogram
TODAY
WASHINGTON — President Obama’s first budget proposes to end state grants for school drug programs that he and Vice President Biden fought for as senators.
Last year, when President Bush asked Congress to stop funding the grants under the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities program, Obama, Biden and 35 other senators protested. They signed a letter calling it “the backbone of youth drug prevention” that was “making a difference” for 37 million children. They signed similar letters in 2006 and 2007.
Obama’s budget calls the program “poorly designed” and cites a 2001 study by the RAND Drug Policy Research Center that found it “profoundly flawed.”
The grants are too small to be effective, says William Modzeleski, head of the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools in the Education Department. More than half the recipients get less than $10,000, he says.
Funding has declined since 2003, when Congress allotted $472 million for the grants. In 2006 and 2007, Bush proposed cutting out the program but Congress allotted $346.5 million each year. Last year, Bush requested $100 million; Congress nearly tripled it to $295 million.

“The inherent flaw in these state grants is it tries to do too much with too little,” Modzeleski says
This story is alarming when the facts are looked at prevention is anecessary tool to crub drug abuse Senator Obama, understood this but Prisedent Obama does not.
Kid Drug Abuse Toll At Record
A RECORD number of young people were treated for drug or alcohol abuse last year, a report has found.
Counsellors saw nearly 52,300 youngsters aged 13 to 24 in England — up 12 per cent in two years.
There were 19 per cent fewer people getting help for abusing “hard” drugs heroin and crack, figures from the National Treatment Agency showed.
But the number of under-25s treated for alcohol, cocaine, cannabis and Ecstasy problems went up 44 per cent.
Manchester University’s Professor Howard Parker told BBC Radio 1: “Alcohol is cheaper and more available, cannabis is stronger, cocaine is half the price it used to be.
“And you can get half a dozen Ecstasy tablets for £10. Put those four together and you’ve got just as serious a problem for health, family life and society as heroin.”
NTA’s Tom Aldridge added the increase was also down to more young people choosing to get help to kick addiction.
We at williamjordandirect the recovery is possible all day every day people continue to fight the fight not to end the war on drugs. With drug abuse on the rise among the young we feel a sense of duty to keep the war alive knowing first hand that any one suffering from addiction does not wants to use drugs they have to because addiction is and illness and once it get you it wants to kill you it like having H I V BUT NOT WANTING TO GET AIDS but being told you already have AIDs spend a day with any addict who has recovered and you will walk away with a better understanding.
